Photo No. 22 offers some nice clues:
So, we have a photo of Mary Morris, taken in New Milford, Conn., by photographer S. C. Landon. An 1865 tax assessment document lists the photographer in New Milford. I find that interesting for two reasons: 1) That’s pretty early to be in the photography business; 2) Mary’s dress reminded me of Civil War-era clothing.
Looky here! I found a Seth C. Landon in New Milford, Conn., in the 1850 U.S. Census. And look what his job is:

Photo No. 23:
She’s a beauty, isn’t she? I’m wondering if the white dress and corsage mean this is a wedding portrait? No inscription to identify her. Here’s the imprint on the back:
I found Edward C. Betts, photographer, in Bridgeport, Conn., in the 1880 U.S. census and directory listings for him in 1890 and 1891.
